All virtual grid builder

Build, script, package, and enter your AVgrid worlds.

AVgrid is a server-ready browser website with a full 3D virtual-world builder: terrain, avatars, inventory, prim editing, parcels, object metadata, script testing, world packages, and WebXR headset entry.

256mregion-sized world base
WebXRVR headset entry
JSONworld and inventory packages
LSL-litescript testing tools

Built for a virtual grid workflow

Use it as a public website, internal prototype, or world-building control room. Everything runs as static browser files.

3D

World builder

Rez prims, edit transforms, sculpt terrain, manage water, create linksets, and save worlds locally or as package files.

INV

Inventory library

Store uploaded assets, avatar parts, world prefabs, scripted objects, vehicles, and exported inventory packages.

SCR

Script loader

Paste scripts, upload script files, run tests, and use the included spin-and-flash sample directly on cubes and objects.

PAR

Parcels and estates

Create parcel overlays, set estate toggles, configure region names, object limits, maturity, physics mode, and damage settings.

MAP

Mini map and console

Use the AVgrid console for quick local commands, check simulator stats, and toggle the mini map while editing.

PKG

World packages

Export/import AVgrid world packages and inventory packages for backups, server uploads, and moving builds between browsers.

VR headset ready

The builder includes WebXR support through the floating Enter VR button. For headsets, host it on HTTPS or run it from localhost, then open it in a WebXR-capable browser.

XR

WebXR entry

Renderer XR mode is enabled and the builder adds a headset entry button automatically when the browser supports it.

SSL

HTTPS required

Most browsers require a secure origin for headset sessions. Upload to an SSL-enabled domain for real headset testing.

PC

Desktop fallback

People without a headset can still use mouse, keyboard, and controller controls in normal browser mode.

Upload straight to your server

Unzip the package into your website folder. The homepage is this file, and the builder opens from builder.html.

Recommended upload path
1. Upload all files from the ZIP.
2. Keep the folder structure exactly the same.
3. Open index.html for the public website.
4. Open builder.html to launch the AVgrid builder.
Server notes
Files are packaged with normal web permissions.
JavaScript modules must be served as JavaScript files.
VR headset mode needs HTTPS or localhost.
Asset storage and saves are browser-local unless you add a backend later.
